Did you attend St Matthew’s Primary School in Cambridge? Could you spare £1 (or more) for each year you were at the school?

In 2023, St Matthew’s, like so many schools across the country, was plunged into a budgetary crisis, mainly due to rising staff costs and energy prices. We are fundraising to avoid cuts to a range of essential facilities and services – some of which you may remember as a former pupil. These include things like a school councillor, and a music programme for all pupils.

A generous donor has offered to match up to £10,000 of donations – that means for every £1 you give, another £1 will go to the school.

With family budgets being squeezed hard, we wanted to give you, as a former pupil, an opportunity to give back to the place you spent so much of your childhood.

If you’d like to, please visit our Alumni JustGiving page to make a donation. Alternatively, you can set up a monthly Direct Debit via CAF. Thank you!
